I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Lakewood City Council (District 2) because I care deeply about the values that make our community a safe, vibrant, and welcoming place to live. Having called Lakewood home for 26 years and as a proud 2004 Mayfair High School graduate, I’ve seen firsthand what makes this city so special, and I’m eager to give back by serving the community that shaped me.
Growing up here, I spent countless hours at our parks, playing sports and enjoying everything Lakewood has to offer. I’m honored to be recognized as a Lakewood Youth Sports Hall of Famer, and my love for this city has only grown since then. For over 10 years, I’ve volunteered as a wrestling coach, helping local kids develop skills, build confidence, and foster a sense of teamwork.
In addition to my volunteer work, I’ve spent 13 years as a real estate professional, guiding our neighbors through buying, selling, and improving their homes. I’ve seen how important it is to have a home and a community that you can be proud of, and I’m passionate about ensuring that Lakewood continues to be a place where everyone feels connected and supported.
With 15 years of experience working in city government, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles from Community Services to facilities maintenance, and now in a management position overseeing multiple Public Works divisions. I handle everything from managing city infrastructure and capital improvement projects to responding to resident concerns and overseeing maintenance contracts. I’m also deeply involved in managing budgets, ensuring transparency, and making sure that our city’s resources are used wisely to benefit all of us.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to ensure our neighborhoods remain safe, well-maintained, and able to thrive. I am committed to responsible development, maintaining strong public safety, and ensuring that our local businesses continue to prosper.
Lakewood is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family, and I’m dedicated to keeping it that way with your support.
I respectfully ask for your support and vote on or before June 2nd, 2026.
